Cupcake Wars was originally created in partnership with Van Wert Manor.
The event is a baking competition/fundraiser between local bakers who choose to bake for a specific United Way agency. Cupcake Wars includes cupcake displays, cooking demonstrations, and the sale of cupcakes. Voting occurs in person at the event AND online throughout the weekend. Each agency receives half of the money from the total votes for their display! Over $6,000 was raised at the 2023 event.
