United Way of Van Wert County recently granted Career Connections a check for $500. The money was given on behalf of the New Initiative Funds which allows organizations that are tax exempt to apply in order to help with a one-time need or project in Van Wert County.
The funds will be used for marketing materials to be given to those students who complete a course through Career Connections. This project will help raise awareness of the importance of Career Connections’ mission to both students and parents.
